The NAB Weekend planning committees make financial decisions based on registrations and the timeliness of money deposited into our event account. We realize events happen in each person’s life that can cause a sudden change in plans to attend the event. Below are the refund policy guidelines to which our event staff will follow:
Payment Card Processing
Accepted Cards: The Kentucky Bourbon Bears, Inc/NAB WEEKEND accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express branded credit, debit, or check cards. Cash is accepted in person only. Money orders and cashier’s checks will be accepted in most instances. Personal checks will only be accepted up to 30 days before the event begins to allow time for payment to clear.
Refund Policy: Most refunds will be subject to a $10.00 administration fee. No refund request will be processed if the item has not settled. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receipt of written request for refund (email or postal service). Refunds will be made to the original payment mechanism unless noted otherwise below.
Event Fees:
Attendee fees will be refunded per the following schedule:
- Request received 30-365 days prior to the event: 100% refund minus administration fee
- Requests made less than 30 days prior to the event start date will not receive a refund, but your pass will be rolled to the next year’s event.
- Refund requests relating to COVID-19 concerns will be issued without any penalties or fees up to 30 days prior to the event. After that date passes, a refund will only be given with proof of a positive COVID test result with your name clearly displayed. If a positive test result cannot be submitted, we will gladly “roll” your registration to the next year’s event for an equivalent event pass.
Vendor Fees will be refunded per the following schedule:
- Request received 30-365 days prior to the event: 100% refund minus administration fee
- Request received 30 days through 14 days prior to the start of the event: 50% refund minus administrative fee
- Requests made less than 2 weeks prior to the event start date will not receive a refund.
- Refund requests relating to COVID-19 concerns will be issued without any penalties or fees up to 30 days prior to the event. After that date passes, a refund will only be given with proof of a positive COVID test result with your name clearly displayed. If a positive test result cannot be submitted, we will gladly “roll” your registration to the next year’s event for an equivalent event pass.
Sponsorship Monies will be refunded per the following schedule:
- Request received prior to 90 days of the start of the event: 50% refund
- Request received within 90 days of the start of the event: no refund will be made available
Donations
Donations will only be refunded prior to public announcement of the gross donation to a beneficiary. Once public announcement has been made, no refund of donations will be processed. Refunds of donations are subject to administrative fees.
Miscellaneous Items
Items purchased from the Kentucky Bourbon Bears, Inc. will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the item. Item must be received in original, unused quality to be eligible for refund. Refunds will be made to the original payment mechanism and are subject to administrative fees.
